Good coffee morning some really impressive performances! Lloyd Cole has written an excellent piece!! Picture this freezing temps: Bridgey in a beehive and skimpy summer outfit and Fred in short sleeves and bow tie, Ruth in Victorian swimsuit!! On Frinton seafront, I had me ski coat on...they must have been freezing!!! Really great photo shoot..from the snaps you would have thought it were summer day!!! So lets await the poster with bated breath!

Excellent impro work today all three hours, some characters really taking shape and life and form. Some superbly unexpected moments: Marcel and Jimmy with the tea and coffee gag!Ha!Ha! I forget about directing in that sequence and the baddies coming into Butlins, with Asten smashing on the xylophone! Of course Katie canned laughter had us all falling about!!!!
Scripts down next week, one step at a time.....

Thank you!!!!Thank you!!!!It was nothing. Three big cheers to the three brave models for the poster...namely, Ruth( in her swimming costume), Bridget and Fred ( both in summer gear)and of course not forgetting the MAD director, Indi Allen. We all braved the -2 weather down at the posh frinton beach on Saturday!!!
Yes, me & Izzy are really happy with the poster. We are looking forward to a big response for the show!!!!
One more thing....I have just devoted a page on my website to the mad about theatre company as I feel I should...it's a bit more coverage for the MAD and hopefully will draw in a few more people for the show. What another great show folks, makes me wish Butlins was still going! I'd love to have been a clone and sat in the audience too, they were having almost as much as us! Thanks to all of you who helped me keep going behind the scenes - my dressing room pals. Big hugs to stage hubby Cliff who made sure I got on and off in the right places! Now looking forward to the next one, though not sure about those men dressed as schoolboys, more knobbly knees methinks! See you on the 5th if you're coming' xxxxxxxx
